Teaching Language/ 使用言語について
All entrance examinations and courses in Kitasato University's undergraduate programs are conducted entirely in Japanese.
Among the abilities, motivation, and aptitude required to achieve academic goals, the standard for Japanese language proficiency, as defined by MEXT, is equivalent to JLPT N2 level or higher.
Please note: Proficiency beyond the N1 level may be required for coursework. Even after passing the entrance examination, students are expected to continue improving their Japanese language skills.
北里大学の学部課程では、入学試験及び入学後の教育は全て日本語で行われます。修学の目的を達するための十分な能力・意欲・適性等のうち、必要な日本語能力については、文部科学省より日本語能力試験N２レベル相当以上が基準とされています。
※大学の授業ではN1レベル以上の日本語能力が求められる場合があります。入学試験に合格された際には、引き続き日本語能力向上に努めることが期待されます。

Applicants who have graduated (or expect to graduate) from schools outside Japan may need to confirm their eligibility before applying.
